Many a Gem (thinkherbal) is a small family run business owned by Jo and John Kerr. We have a big back-up team. The site is brought to you in association with Daily Bread Co-operative, a unique wholefoods retail/warehouse trading from Northampton with a sister company in Cambridge. As you'd expect from a business that calls itself 'co-operative', the driving force behind the scenes is co-operation. We also get encouragement and support from Bio-Health, a leading UK manufacturer operating from licenced premises in Rochester, Kent.
Jo is a qualified teacher and full-time mother with a long-term interest in the healing arts.
John worked in IT for 30 years, mostly for local authorities, before taking early retirement and setting up in business on his own. He works 3 days a week for Daily Bread Co-operative and has other interests in e-commerce and web design.
We run another e-shop called www.partworks.co.uk where you can buy back issues of partwork magazines, CDs etc to complete those collections you were building up all these years.
