We don't approve of 'spam' and never release your personal details to any companies for mailing or marketing purposes. We used to send out newsletters about additional health related products and services but we stopped this in protest at all the rubbishy stuff that finds its way into our own electronic inbox.
The Worldpay transaction processing system is used to collect payments. Worldpay is a respected and well trusted third party operating from Cambridge, UK.Alternatively, if you have a Paypal account, we can accept payments through that route. In a new development, we will soon be using the GlobeCharge front-end system to collect payment details through a secure server; any details you enter through this route are encrypted before being sent to us. This ensures they will not be intercepted or viewed by anyone outside our security ring.
Cookies
Cookies are short pieces of data, not code, no greater than 4Kb in size. They are only used to temporarily store useful information on your computer. No files are destroyed or compromised by cookies. Cookies simply record information about what is in your shopping basket allowing the software to calculate your orders and to store your details to make completing subsequent orders faster. This information is retained only on your computer, we do not retrieve this information for any purpose.
